A webinar on Effective Online Discussion was organised by the Centre of Open & Distance Learning (CODL), Lincoln University College (LUC), Malaysia on November 24, 2021 via Zoom meeting. The event, which was open for all faculty members, focused on the topics like online discussion management approaches, pedagogy, best practices, and tactics. Professor Datin Dr. Hafizah Che Hassan, Deputy Vice Chancellor Academic, LUC, Malaysia was the speaker of the webinar.

He delivered speech on the theme “Living with COVID-19 Endemic: Opportunities, Threats, Preparedness and Adaptation”.

Professor Dr. Faridah Mohd Said of the Faculty of Nursing, Lincoln University College, Malaysia has delivered her speech as an invited speaker at the 5th International Virtual Conference on Nursing 2021 Indonesia on September 8-9, 2021. Her presentation “Accelerating Contactless Primary Health Care Services” is in line with the conference theme “Post-Pandemic Healthcare: Transformation and Innovation Forces in Focus”. Other speakers were also present from the Philippines, Taiwan, Indonesia, Turkey, and the United Kingdom (UK). More than 1600 participants attended this conference.

The Effective Publication Strategies at the International Reputable Scientific Journals

Prof. Dr. Sandeep Poddar, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research & Innovation), Lincoln University College, Malaysia was invited and served as a resource person at the International Nursing Webinar & Virtual Manuscript Preparation Advisory ‘The Effective Publication Strategies at the International Reputable Scientific Journals’ on August 27-28, 2021 organized by Faculty of Nursing and Health Sciences, Muhammadiyah University of Semarang, Indonesia. Prof. Poddar delivered his lecture on ‘Strategies: How to Prepare a Quantitative-Experiment Research Manuscript’. The event was attainted by more than 180 participants.

9th International Conference on Issues and Challenges in Doctoral Research Held on World Doctorates Day 2021

Prof. Dr. Sandeep Poddar, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research & Innovation), Lincoln University College, Malaysia was invited and represented Malaysia at the 9th International Conference on Issues and Challenges in Doctoral Research (ICICDR-2021) coordinated and organized by Amity University Haryana, India under the Aegis of Global Network of Doctorates on the occasion of the World Doctorates Day on August 25, 2021.

The event was glorified by presence of Nobel Laureate of Peace Shri Kailash Satyarthi, Nobel Laureate of Peace Prof. Muhammad Yunus, Distinguished National Scientist Padma Vibhushan Dr. R.A. Mashelkar, Distinguished Educationist Padma Shri J.S. Rajput. The President of the Association of Indian Universities Dr, G Thiruvasagam was the distinguished guest of honour and India’s Father of PARAM Supercomputer Dr. Vijay Bhatkar was the Chief Guest at the Inaugural Function which was also graced by Chancellor of AUH Dr. Aseem Chauhan.

2nd International Virtual Conference of Biotechnology Research Centre (IVCBRC-2021)

Prof. Dr. Imad Ibrahim Ali Al-Sultan, Head of Pathology Department in the Faculty of Medicine, Lincoln University College, Malaysia was invited as a Research Speaker at the 2nd International Virtual Conference of Biotechnology Research Centre (IVCBRC-2021) organised by the Biotechnology Research Center, Al-Nahrain University, Baghdad, Republic of Iraq, Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research on August 3-4, 2021. The research title was “Attempts to Manipulate Direct Fluorescent Antibody Test for Detection of Rabies Virus Antigen in Mouse Brain”. The conference was held at the Biotechnology Research Centre, Al-Nahrain University, Baghdad, Iraq, in cooperation with the Egyptian Botanical Society, Egypt.
